keith olbermann is with leather

Origin - According to the story, an anonymous contributor, whom Deadspin editor Will Leitch calls "a respected journalist," was flirting in a bar with an attractive woman wearing leather pants. However, his efforts proved unsuccessful when Berman, who was in Scottsdale to cover baseball spring training, walked by and told the woman "You're with me, leather." The woman immediately got up and left the bar with Berman.Read more about it here.

stars vs red wings, period 3

Six minutes into the 3rd, Stars getting outshot 24-16 and pummeled in the face off circle 25-17.

The Stars now looking like crap, giving up two goals in the last 3 minutes. The Stars are chasing in their own zone and look much slower than Detroit over the last 10 minutes. Three minutes left now and the Stars need a miracle, as it looks like they have no chance to score a goal here now.

Dallas gives up an empty-netter and that's all she wrote... another loss to the f-in dead wings, 3-1.

stars vs red wings, period 2

Mike Ribeiro puts Dallas ahead on a power play goal at 6:34 of the 2nd period. The Stars have had several chances to add a second goal but it remains 1-0 with about 5 minutes left in the period.

Second period ends in a flurry but its still 1-0 Dallas.

stars vs red wings, period 1

No score after one period. Dallas dominated early on, then the ice tilted allowing Detroit several scoring chances toward the end of the period. Dallas starts the 2nd period on a power play.

wade phillips?

ESPN just reported that the Cowboys have hired Wade Phillips as head coach though there's nothing about it on their website, nor does the DMN doesn't have any mention of it yet... I still think Norv Turner was the best choice.

law, aggies clear the phog

No. 8 Texas A&M stunned the sixth-ranked Jayhawks, 69-66, Saturday at Phog-Allen Fieldhouse, where Kansas had been 31-0 against the Big 12 South division. Eleven perfect years, 31 straight wins. And now one loss. Kansas' home unbeaten streak against Big 12 South teams is now over while the win gave A&M sole possession of first place in the Big 12.

From the AP - LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Give me the ball, Acie Law pleaded with his head coach. Because Billy Gillispie did, the Big 12 South is 1-31 in Kansas' Allen Fieldhouse instead of 0-32 and Texas A&M has the conference lead all to itself. Law scored his team's last five points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer over Brandon Rush with 20 seconds to go, and the 10th-ranked Aggies erased a 10-point deficit to beat No. 6 Kansas 69-66 Saturday night.
