COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Citadel gained more yards in the first half Saturday night against Texas A&M than the Division I-AA team did in two games against I-A foes last season. Then again, the Bulldogs scored far fewer points than they had against Florida State and Ole Miss.
Those were the conflicting images of the Aggies' defense in a 35-3, season-opening win in front of 70,104 fans at Kyle Field.
